- ‘12人’のアンサンブル誕生のきっかけが1966年のベルリンフィル日本公演旅行中にあり、‘12人’の完全プログラムによる最初の公演もヨーロッパではなく、73年に早稲田大学大隈講堂で行われたという、日本とゆかりの深いアンサンブル集団です。
- 2014年来日公演（東京）のチケットは早々に完売。
- 2004年に発売された原盤は、権威あるドイツの“エコー・クラシック”を受賞。
